Mimetime

MIMETIME is a digital delay designed to emulate the quirks of a tape-based workflow. It features parameters to control tape speed, playback direction, and loop length.

In STANDARD mode, it operates like an old-school digital delay, with sound quality dependent on playback speed.

When INFINITY is engaged, it loops the contents of the buffer indefinitely, behaving like a tape loop with the write/delete heads disengaged.

Its "always-on" recording behavior was inspired by EHXs classic sixteen second delay, and enables performers to capture loops discreetly to then engage at a later point.
